Yes, I just watched the 3rd episode and it’s touched on there, but the greater focus is on the abuse and treatment of black girls and how that plays into people not caring or reporting. |
| He went to trial and was acquitted when there was video. What is the end game here? You have Aaliyah's mother calling the witness a liar. You have Jay Z, Questlove, and other celebs refusing to participate. Not even Celine "I'm your angel" Dion. Only John Legend stepped up. The women who came forward in recent years were of age. The women at the houses in GA and Chicago are of age. Police have been to both residences and gave an all clear. He called himself the black Hugh Hefner, and right now that's what he's looking like. How do you get him? |

Black children are not viewed as innocent. As a society we must change this.
We also need to stand by black women and create momentum of protecting black girls. |
There are women on the show that were not of age when they were with him. I believe they said that IL age of consent was 17, and episode 5(?) profiles a 14 yo that met him at his trial. He had sex with her when she was 16. It’s infuritaing that he wasn’t convicted with the video but when the girl in the video denied it was her, it’s like all the eye witnesses didn’t matter to the jury. |

MJ was in bed with other people’s children. Sure the parents allowed it/wanted money.. how does anyone justify this? Same way they justify RKellys behaviour “he wouldn’t do anything REALLY wrong. |

I am watching right now and am so disgusted
But what I can't get over is that he is roaming free with all this??? It's like OJ. |

Good comparison, especially since the police in FL bungled the evidence in the case there. |
The issue was that the girls own parents were claiming it wasn’t them in the videos. |
Sparkles said her niece also denied it was her. Same with her basketball friend, but they identified her anyway. |
| Oh wow. Joycelyn(?)’s parents said that they heard there was “some sort of trial” in 2008 but since he was found not guilty we figured it was ok. So they were living under a rock and didn’t see/or here about him peeing on an obvious young teen? |
Why was he acquitted? |
https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-xpm-2008-06-14-0806140185-story.html The jury couldn’t agree that it was him in the tape, who the girl was, and was she really underage in the tape. |
