Fx Co Govt employee and I’ve already gotten a “weather alert” notification reporting that

.WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 1 PM EST
THURSDAY...
* WHAT...MIXED PRECIPITATION EXPECTED. TOTAL SLEET AND SNOW
ACCUMULATION OF UP TO ONE INCH, AND ICE GLAZE ACCUMULATIONS OF
UP TO A TENTH OF AN INCH EXPECTED.

Merrifield address, BTW. Near Gatehouse.

I think by 6am


By 5. My middle school students get on buses as early as 6:15.

Although I guess with the delay it might be 7.

This is BS. I see nothing about ice or sleet in the hourly forecasts for Herndon, Centreville, Merrifield, or Springfield on weather.com or weather underground.
