+1. I'm shocked. I didn't have in-depth interactions with him, but from what I know, this seems out of character. Tough discussions with kids within the Shepherd community.

I mentioned it briefly to my child, who was happy to hear he wasn’t teaching anymore. He apparently was extremely strict and threatened swift and immediate action for misbehavior.

I read the article and it is hard to imagine consensual sex that would require reconstructive surgery. Horrific!

And he told the cops, while explaining how it was consensual, that he gave her THREE SEPARATE SHOWERS over the course of the night to wash off blood? Jesus Christ this person is a sociopath.

No one will believe him, too much evidence to contract his story. EVEN IF she was drunk, she was clearly incapacitated, unable to give consent, and seriously injured. Makes me so sad that her brother tried to find her and got close. I hope he's put away for a long, long time.

Well, according to his story, so was he.

God knows what state this woman was in but she clearly needed medical care, which he didn't obtain for her. I'm sure she couldn't walk, this makes me so sad, I could scream!

Not defending avyone, but bail is appropriate given that he self reported and has kids that he supports to keep him from being a flight risk.

He was always kind to my kids in class. What happens anywhere behind closed doors is always a mystery.

Not too drunk to attempt to shower off the evidence on three separate occasions and maim her, however. Sure, that's the same.

How on earth could there be another side to the story of his severely injuring her?

He never raped one of the kids in his class and dumped the body in the bushes at a Wendy's (that PP knows about), so clearly there are good people on both sides. (TM)

Do you not know how to read? PP said nothing close to that.

His story is that it was consensual. You don't believe him.

NP, what exactly could be considered a "mystery" in this situation.

The intent is obviously to say we don't know what people are capable of, even people who seem nice and we think we know. God, you are dumb.

Since consensual sex rarely involves being dumped half-conscious in shrubbery and requiring surgery, that is correct.

Do kids need to have discussions on this? Why can’t “Mr Music teacher is no longer at our school” suffice?
