Dear Bullis Lacrosse Players and Families, I hope this email finds each of you doing well and enjoying your summer. As members of the lacrosse program, I am writing to inform you that we have made a decision to make a change regarding our head varsity boys lacrosse coach. Over the last several weeks, an administrative committee has been reviewing the future of our lacrosse program. This decision was not taken lightly, and we believe this is in the best interest of the Bullis lacrosse program. While we have received national recognition over the past decade and won two IAC championships, we are looking at the future of the program and believe this change provides our student-athletes with the best opportunity to prepare them for the future at Bullis and beyond. As with all of our athletic programs, wins and losses are only one aspect of how we measure success. We want to thank Coach Bellistri for serving nearly two decades as both an assistant and head coach in the middle and upper school. We look forward to having Coach Bellistri remain part of the Bullis community as a member of our math department faculty. As we move forward, we are working to appoint an interim head coach in the near future. As with any changes, I understand that there may be some questions. Please feel free to contact me. With your support, we look forward to the bright future of the boys lacrosse program. Kind Regards, Andres Parra Director of Boys Athletics |

| Apparently the AD email was sent Monday - not today - and Post article with headmaster quote AFTER that, so some serious disconnect at Bullis. |
| "Bullis rallies in defense of lacrosse coach, but head of school says he hasn’t been fired" |
|
The current Bullis administration looks incompetent.
They are in bed with DCE! |
| Word is Bullis is backtracking. DCE's greed will be their undoing. Bullis will end up kicking them out and their deal with Bethesda will fall apart. |
+1 It’s that way even at lower grades, unfortunately. |

Bellestri should have left if he has any pride at all. He doesn’t have the passion or energy to build a sustainable program. Look at the roster; over half are rising seniors! No depth at all. One more year then it crashes! Could be sooner if the stud freshman/sophomores jump off the ship.
That’s why the administration wants to make a change. Lack of confidence to build a program for the long haul. They see the future, and it isn’t pretty. |
| Total lie. Just another Prep dad jealous of Bullis' success. |
Umm, no depth? "Half are rising seniors." That means half of the roster is rising juniors/sophomores. "Stud freshman/sophomores" means there is depth. That's actually the ideal situation. But yeah, if everyone transfers then they stink. Thanks Captain Obvious. |
| Not to worry about roster depth. Most of their 2020 and 2021's are currently enrolled at other schools. |
Wait, this lacrosse club also teaches math? Not even DC Express does that. |
| JB should go to Prep. |
