What are the easiest things to stop eating to see quickest results?

I snack on fruits and veggies instead of carby snacks. I do yogurt instead of oatmeal because it has more protein, fewer carbs.

I'm STARVING with 90 minutes when I have oatmeal for breakfast.

Stop eating breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.

True, but I rarely see adults drinking juice, even at breakfast.

Sugar, dairy and carbs.

Switched my granola and almond milk to fruit/veggie smoothies. Switched sodas for iced tea. Started asking for no cheese/any type of carb on my salad. Sandwiches/burgers/pasta are rare treats.

Unfortunately I HATE oatmeal.

Switch out any sugary or calorie laden soft drinks with unsweetened iced tea.

Cashew or almond milk instead of whole or skim milk.

Eat more protein, and vegetables instead of starch/carbs.

Egg for breakfast, or some similar no carb breakfast. Curbs my snacking.

The orange juice section at Whole Foods is pretty big. And the bottled "smoothie" and "healthy" juice section is massive. Someone is buying it.

Cutting out anything I didn't cook myself from scratch. So if I'm really craving pizza, or cake, or whatever I will let myself eat it if I make it entirely from single ingredients. This also meant I got rid of all snack foods in the house, which was a huge help.

Cut out sugar.
Cut out processed carbs, including (and/or esp) cereal, oatmeal, bread. Replace with eggs for breakfast, lean protein for lunch and dinner. Eat green leafy vegg, and for fruit, limited amounts of berries and cantaloupe (lower sugar fruits). Limit dairy intake, but use full fat.
Decrease or eliminate alcohol--it's a sugar. If you must drink, drink clear liquor (gin, vodka, tequila) and mix with seltzer, water, or nothing.

Quite effective and quick.

Don't juice or do smoothies, blending it destroys the sensation of chewing and cuts down the satiety of the food while giving you more calories. That whole fad is dumb.

ALCOHOL

Bingo

Most people do not drink enough alcohol for it to make that much of a difference. I genuinely do not understand why this is offered up so often. Some of the heaviest people I know are non-drinkers.

+2

I was a daily drinker before becoming sober seven months ago. My appearance has improved, but my weight has not budged.
