Expecting you to do some household chores while she is taking a (not-relaxing) trip that entertains the child and that you declined to go on...is not unreasonable. Asking for photos is odd and controlling. That said, I hope she comes home to a clean house.

They went to Disney world. It's just my toddler and my wife. I did not want to take off for a week so I can sweat to death in Orlando. My wife used her parents timeshare in FL.

Your problem is that you aren’t invested in your family. You skipped out on a vacation for your child because of sweat? Really? I’m guessing you’re one of those guys who don’t contribute anything to the family besides money. If you insist on only being a bank, don’t be surprised when your wife treats you like a bank.

OP your wife is with your toddler. She is tired and exhausted... notnon vacation (unless she brought her full time nanny with her, then you are right). Otherwise, since you have nothing to do on the weekend, clean and make sure that when she gets home your house is spotless. You are on vacation.... not you wife

Dude, if you don't want to clean, just throw some money at it. Place a request on your neighborhood listserv for a one-time cleaning and get the number of someone who can come out and do it. It should be under $200. Once the house is clean, it should be easy to keep it that way until they come back.
