I talked to a mom today whose DC was originally in mid-20s and got an offer this week. They are on the fence because they love their elementary school and can afford private.

Ok, any updated rumors on waitlist numbers being offered spotS? I’m hearing really high numbers but from my 4th grader so I want adult confirmation.

Current 5th grader parent here - all of our re-enrollment registration paperwork (residency verification, etc.) is due Thursday 5/17. So after they process all of those, there may be some movement for the 6th grade list. But as a PP said, call the registrar. She is very helpful.

No I mean the common lottery folks at My School DC (MSDC). They can usually help - and if you suspect something odd, they can investigate with the school.

So I called MSDC and they said Basis offered so far only 15-16 spots for 5th grade waitlisters. I do not understand why people are saying that are getting offers for mid 20s and 30s..
