Ladies how did you meet your rich husband?

Just zero in on what career track you’re looking for and then ask friends to introduce you.

Service industry. He used to come see me and I’d catch him looking at me all the time.

In retrospect, though, I think he was just lonely because he was new in town and had no friends here. I think if he could do things over, he’d choose someone with a career like his.

He went to grad school, got MBA and then started in finance consulting. 15 years later he makes 20x his starting salary (not including bonuses and perks )as a company exec.Little stress. 9 to 5 job. Short commute. Home every night. Still nerdy But it looks great on him now. Great personality, not arrogant, not entitled I think because he was always the under dog.

I maxed out around $100k and then quit to raise our 3 kids. We are not even 40, and just happen to be AA

Lots of stress if you’re both alcoholics?

In college. I knew he would be successful, but I didn’t know that he would get so rich. That was a nice surprise!

I’m so confused as to why she added her race at the end. And “just happen to be AA”? Wtf does that even matter?

Online dating, but he wasn't rich then. Look for a really smart software engineer.

No, he got rich after law school. Point being that a big percentage of the wealthy people in this area are lawyers

+1, that is not relevant and was a weird thing to say.

Not all of them are rich. My best friend married one, and it is the wife (my friend's family) that is rich. Plus, he has a lot of unresolved baggage from "growing up nerd". They married young, like most wealthy men who are happy in their marriages. OP, wondering why you start a new thread on this every week? Wondering why this is your life goal, and not improving yourself? Wealthy men don't want to be with women who want them for their money, and you don't hide it as well as you think you do.

Is there a source for that, or are you pretending a wild-assed guess should be taken as truth?

Not PP, but sometimes people need to be reminded that black people can be rich too.
