| I wish the regular step classes would come back in some way, shape, or form. At some point the footwork got way too intricate and fast. That's why people stopped going. |
Now my old knees can barely climb a step. Sigh. |
| I’m only 38 and loved step aerobics, LOL. I started going as a teenager. I’m not from this area but in my area it’s evolved into different Les Mills classes. There are step elements but not a straight up step class. |
Uh, no. Clearly step is not forever. It is out. Get with the times, lady. |
| Maybe try zumba |
| Jazzercise is still around! I don’t know if they use steps/risers but they still do choreographed aerobics. |
| Look for gyms that offer Les Mills classes. BodyStep is basically an aerobic step class. I know the XSport in Alexandria offers it, along with several of the other Les Mills Body- classes (BodyFlow, BodyPump, etc). |
Oh no, the intricate moves and modifications are fun! Boring step is boring! A DVD would be hella boring! I have a feeling the instructor with the following mentioned above is really intricate and always changing up challenging routines! |

Amy Dixon has a good one. It's available on Amazon.

I love this. I'm 46 and miss step; was just thinking this today during zumba when a substitute teacher started with the grapevine |
| Aspen Hill Club offers step classes |
| I loved step classes. It’s what got me going to the gym. Loved that it’s not all dancy and you don’t need any special talents! |
Are you listening, Zumba? Some of us are there for the cardio, not to practice for our Cardi B backup dancer audition. |
| Boy, you sure brought back memories! L step -lol! Step was the best! Such a great workout! |

Hate Zumba. Have loved step since the 80s.
In the 90s I used to pay $3 per jazzercise class. It was meant mostly for oldsters (which I was not at the time) so it was easy enough to follow along. |
