| Met while both of us were away at college. I moved home, he was from another city 3 hours away. It didn’t work out. He’s now married and living a few houses down from the home my parents lived in when they had me. It’s effing weird. |

| I’ve been happily married for years and have 2 amazing kids and a great life. I often think about a guy I was in love with growing up. We went to church and youth group together but different high schools. He was a few years older, a senior when I was a freshman (but he was only 2.5 years older than me if that makes sense?) but I wasn’t allowed to date until I turned 16... Of course, this was before social media and texting so by the time we could date, we only saw each other during his college breaks and I started dating another guy. We did get to go on one “official” date while my HS boyfriend and I were broken up over one Christmas and it was so amazing. But of course we drifted apart. We were just so young and innocent but I think so fondly of him and that time of my life. I’ve tried unsuccessfully a few times to find him on Facebook, but a Google search finds him married with kids across the country. I’m just so curious as to what would have happened if we had a chance way back then... |

How many years has it been? Who initiated the divorce? This is my fear when it comes to dating men who are divorced. If you like someone enough to marry them, does those feelings ever go away? |

My friend did this to me. I was fine being friends because I would choose my husband over him, but he wished he had ended up with me instead of his wife. It sucks because I valued our friendship. |

My husband and I were both divorced when we met, and I promise you, neither of us would EVER go back to our exes! Some people may be different, but we have no contact and don't discuss them anymore and will hopefully never see them again. There are NO feelings there anymore. |
