I hate that women can cash in on sex in a way that's impossible for heterosexual men and then pretend to be oppressed by the patriarchy. Young women have way more power than young men.

That said, hate the game, not the player. This woman took advantage of the options available to her. She'll probably be more realistic and wise about the realities of money and sex because of it. She might be a keeper.

Op here. I believe her when she said it was just one guy. She was in a tough spot with paying off loans to get more loans for her advanced degree. She stopped after 6 months as soon as she got the money she needed. He called it casual sex with a fienddship. Not that it matter but he wasn’t some old rich guy. He was a trust fund guy who was 35. He had little time and she had little time and needed the money. I believe her that it’s only one guy because we met through a mutual friend. The friend is close to her and knows a lot about her. My girlfriend has only slept with 5 guys ( that’s including me). I think the initial shock was because she doesn’t seem like someone who would ever do something like that. It’s tough to decide what to do but I have some hope that she was honest enough to tell me about it.

Not the same. She probably would have had sex with this guy otherwise. He was 35 not 55. He was probably upfront about willing to help her financially too.
