What flavor was your wedding cake?

Mousse cake. Chocolate and raspberry and thin vanilla cake layers. Amazing.

Almond cake, a family tradition, with white buttercream.

We had cannolis and rainbow cake from our favorite bakery in Little Italy flown in.

Cannoli cake. Best I ever had. Still haven’t had one as good and we get them for every family event. People still talk about how great our wedding cake was. I wish I could have it again! We got one from the same bakery about a year ago and it was crap.

White cake with buttercream. Two tiers were filled with raspberry and one with lemon curd. The grooms cake was a carrot cake.

Funfetti cupcakes. Per my husband's request. Vanilla buttercream frosting made to look like sand, with piped sea creatures and sugar "seaweed". Per my request.

2006 wedding.

Half white, half chocolate. I hate when people do fruit fillings and weird flavors. Blech!

20 years ago. - no idea. None of your friends will remember either. Lesson - don't sweat the small stuff.

I had cannoli too, PP!

Part of the reason I decided not to do cake (other than the waste) is that i am anxious in the spotlight and didn’t want to do a “cake-cutting.”

Fall wedding: maple. It was the most delicious cake I have ever had. The baker moved to Scotland so I will never taste it again.

Ha ha! This was ours, too. Or half of it anyway. I wanted all chocolate with chocolate icing cause I have no use for white cake and white frosting, and DH wasn't keen on that, so we did half and half. Who knew DH would be into a more traditional wedding than I?

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who doesn't remember. It was delicious with white frosting I do remember that much.
