Double sinks, hands down

The drawer is for candy.

It probably is not a drawer but shelf and that opens upward or a false front. It would be a good place for candy and treats to hide from your husband and kids.

Double sinks. Single is a deal killer

Double sinks, and scrap all those upper cabinets entirely.

I see all this cabinetry in the latest designs, but seriously, what in the world are people putting in all those drawers and cabinets? They might look nice, but functional? I don't think so. The posted pic above with the double sinks is a really nice look.

Double sinks! Dh and I get ready for work together and get ready for bed together. Spitting toothpaste in the same sink is a mood killer. I thought most married couples got ready together? (toilet is in a little closet room)

We have a ton of drawers in our bathroom built ins and I personally LOVE having them all. Definitely not all fully used, but it's wonderful to have a drawer for just makeup, one for nail polish, one for hair stuff, etc. And yes, one for candy that is just for me. If you have the room to add more storage, it always is a good idea (though I agree that double sinks are better for resale)

I know double-sinks were all the rage, but do not understand it at all. I have no desire to watch my spouse floss or pluck nose hairs.

Not OP, but those upper cabinets are SO functional! Mine has an outlet on the lower shelf and a rack that holds my straighter and blow dryer. I blow dry my hair, then I put the blower dryer in there and shut the door- no more cord mess! On the upper shelves I have a shelf for face lotions and on for hair products. Nothing sits on my counter anymore.

DH's upper cabinet has his shaving creams, contact lens stuff, toothpaste and sunscreens.

We were avid users of our medicine cabinets before, so we figured we'd like the upper cabinets. These are just like medicine cabinets except 3x deeper and taller. There is zero excuse for anything to sit out anymore on the counter.

I don't see anything wrong with watching my DH floss? It's not gross at all to me. I personally don't like to use the same bowl and see someone else's spit/toothpaste there. Hotels suck.

DH and I have two separate vanities with separate sinks and that's ideal, but I don't see a problem with double sinks next to each other.

Why would we get ready together? Weird.
