Who is talking about closing stores in SE.i a,a regular Safeway shopper but i have other grocery options in my neighborhood. This info makes me less inclined to shop at Safeway.

| OP didn't advocate for anything. Shifting grocery stores is a legitimate consumer choice. If you have options and don't like Safeway because of these affiliations - don't shop there. If you like Safeway - don't have options - or don't care - shop at Safeway. Don't make it a jobs issue. If one grocer grows and another shrinks it's jobs neutral. The jobs issues in grocery are online shopping and automated check outs (which Safeway and others are increasingly using). |
