PP, are you saying that the murder rate would be higher if not for effective trauma care at UMd and IIRC? If so, that doesn't negate what the PP had stated about the murder not exceeding 355. |
| She can thank her predecessor who took a stand against her own police force. |

Police are NOT the problem. The problem is that ever kid on a corner has a loaded gun.
|
I would like to first get the numbers straight before guessing at what the rate would be absent the trauma center. |
If he was innocent, why did he run? |
| Baltimore is living up to its fame quote from the 90's - The city that rea.... errr bleeds" |

If you knew the Baltimore police, you would run too. |
You clearly live in Disneyland. |
| Wait, I thought we were making America safe again. |
Google is your friend. Pretty easy to verify. 1993 is height of crack epidemic. |
I did google and did not find Baltimore city homicide data beyond the last few years. Really, if you are making the case, its on you to provide the link. |
You must have used Yahoo search.. http://articles.baltimoresun.com/1994-11-11/news/1994315031_1_eastern-district-homicide-rate-police-report |
While that article does say that 1992 and 1993 set records, it does not in fact say what the homicide rate was in earlier years, which is what I was looking for. I was thinking more of a year by year table. |
Wondering how you survive in the modern world with your internet skills. Murder rate was significantly lower in the 1980s, Baltimore has excellent leadership then. http://www.disastercenter.com/maryland/crime/4850.htm |
