How does Trump justify not releasing his taxes?

How do you know what he's paying or not paying? How do you know he's not cheating? He hasn't released his tax returns. He's being audited; we don't know the outcome. This is a man with a history of lying and scamming. If he had nothing to hide and was proud of his tax record, he'd show you his tax record.

The IRS cannot confirm or deny the existence of an audit, although it did say that an audit was not a reason for him not to release his returns.
