Do you steal when you go thru self-checkout?

Admittedly, I did this a couple of times in grad school. I paid for the apples or oranges, but if a different kind were on sale, I'd punch in the cheaper code.

I don't do that now at all, and definitely don't outright not pay for something. Paying sale price for Pink Lady, instead of regular price for Gala, is the closest I've ever come to stealing in my life. Not proud of it, but... it's relatively minor.

I totally get you. Frustrating when the ones you like are not on sale and it's like $2 per lb difference. Yes I understand how prices are set but it's still annoying.

No. If I am going down, it best be for something much bigger than paying for some golden delicious but taking some honey crisps.

nope - not even as a broke college student.

No. But I do blindly always punch in 2 plastic bags, even when I have 6.

No Way. I am not even tempted.

No, and they annoy me so much.

No way

No, because I know I'll end up paying the price in higher prices for everything else in the store down the line.

No. I think I've accidentally screwed up the produce before - sometimes there are a million choices. But for all I know I paid more as a result.

Where is this that you have to pay for and count your bags?
