I'd never buy another Nissan again!

My first car was a 1992 Nissan Sentra. I loved that car, I drove it until 2005.

^^ pp again, forgot to mention I bought it brand new in 1992.

My brother had an Altima that lasted over 20 years. And my Dad drives the Murano. He liked his mid-2000s one better than the one he got a few years ago. Probably won't buy another one.

They both have science PhDs, so maybe that's the demographic? Ha.

Also interesting to learn "Nissan caters to a certain demographic." Huh.

+1 What is the demographic? I view Toyotas and Hondas as sort of the cars for "everyone". Subaru I know caters to perhaps a more "outdoorsy" bunch. But who is Nissan's demographic?

I would also like to know this. My husband and I were discussing this just the other day because we don't know anyone with a Nissan. Who buys them? And does Mitsubishi even make cars anymore?

People who really want to by BMWs but can't afford them. I.e., guys with big egos and nothing to back them up, women who want a "fancy" SUV, wear too-tight, cheap clothing and too much makeup.

Not me. I regret getting one but I don't want to get a BMW either. Should've gotten a Toyota.

Weird. We've had many Nissans and they've all been great. Altima, Infiniti, Xterra, Maxima and right now I drive an Armada. Great cars with zero issues. Maybe you got a lemon?

I love my Nissan!

I have a Nissan Rogue with a third row seat. I love it. I had the Mazda 5 before and that thing was a piece of junk.

I mentioned it to family and friends casually and EVERYONE told me they hated, hated, hated their nissan. I was really bummed because I loved the pathfinder and really wanted one. I decided not to tune out everyone and just go with Honda again (have owned them before and always gotten 200k miles on them) but when I see a pathfinder I'm still kinda jealous!

trust me. it's a good thing you listened to them... you can't go wrong with the other 4 japanese brands though - honda, toyota, mazda, and subaru.

I had a Honda CRV once, biggest piece of shit ever. And ugly. Never again will I own a Honda.

My mom had an Altima in the 90's and has a Rogue. No major issues with either one. I have an FX35 and it has been an awesome car.

The Passats though...my biggest issue is the dealers are clueless, and then want you to pay for them to "troubleshoot".

DH has it. I hate it. It's so narrow and delicate and slow. He uses it to commute. Hate when he takes my Mazda3 and I have to drive his car.
