Pocahontas - Racist?

I see it as reminding people that Warren checked the "American Indian" box on school applications to get preferential treatment for her work in academia. I'm no Trump fan, but I don't think this is an example of him being racist

it's incredibly racist-- he could be more civilized about making the argument rather than reducing Native Americans to an easy-to-remember epithet.

Agree. She is the best example of limo liberals. All the policies she pushes for, she won't follow herself.

True. And, the hypocrisy of Warren, being someone who rails against Wall Street, supporting Hillary, someone who is in bed with Wall Street.
So, her phony speeches and outrage against the banks and Wall Street are just for show.

Actually its a lie, not racism. She lied about her heritage and is being called out - pure and simple. Yet the left has to always turn it into victimhood and racism. Too bad America sees through it.

Really? Should we start referring to Trump as Klanboy to remind people of his family history of racism?

What's racist is her pretending to be Native American. Liberals seem to have a mental disorder and feel they can identify with whatever they like. Just like that blonde lady who pretended to be black.

I fully believe the senator's representation about her heritage. It's her policies that are strange.

That's not what happened. So, I'm going to call you "Lyin' Anonymous" from now on.

And I'll call you "The Bride of Lyin' Anonymous".

Maybe not racist but calling people names they don't want to be called by in order to tease them is something my 4yo might do and be scolded for. Childish if not racist.

Calling any name is juvenile. Calling Warren "Pocahontas", for a perception of lie, is derogatory/disrespectful to native Americans. Calling Warren a "racist" for a perception of lie that she has no "native American heritage" is stupidity. So, can you please form one word for all these so that we can address Trump with that epithet?

There is no fact to what you have alluded. In fact the hiring director at Harvard has categorically said this never happened. Hitler said “If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.” No wonder Trump is compared to Hitler so many time.

Honestly, I love Elizabeth Warren but this is so much more clever than just calling her Pocahontas. I assume Trump has an adopted this nickname because he can't spell Fauxcahontas on Twitter.

Warren making fun of Trump's hats! Scott Brown calling for DNA tests to prove her heritage. This is now American politics.

We've solidified our place in the work stage as a laughing stock. With all the issues, it's astounding these make the headlines. Not once did I hear Warren or Clintin talk about how their policies help the American people, or list one of her accomplishments since her 20 years in the political scene.

Trump continues immature attacks I'd expect to hear from 4chan.

We're doomed as a nation is this is the best we've got.

Not believing the “family lore,” I mean lie.

Its your choice to believe it or not. However you have no right to call names when you do not believe.

The first amendment is pretty clear about the right of someone to say something they believe to be true, whether you agree with it or not.

+1 and pales to insignificance when compared to the frequency of misinformation and blatant lies spewing from Trump.

Analysis of Trump's statements show him to be the one of the most dishonest nominees in our history.
