| Carter and Tucker are both kind of trendy though. I would group them with Aiden and Jackson, tbh. |
| Luke is a nice name, not too trendy or boring. |
I have a girl, and am pregnant with a boy, and it's WAY harder to name him! This is why everyone chooses the same damn names for boys. I think with girls people go with a much wider variation. They aren't afraid to give their girls names that might trend a bit masculine (see: stealing boys names like Dylan and Elliott) whereas no one wants to give their little boy a name that's too feminine. OP, what about some old people names? Something like Walter or Arthur or Freddie? |

Not op- i like some of the namesalready suggested. I'm ethnic, so wonder if you are too and would be opento nsmes from that culture. Otherwise here are more not necessarily ethnic names that I think dound stong but not trendy (i think-- I agree w mother of two girls above, as I am one too!) thinking of names of kids i knew who were cool and whose names maybe seemed to help or reflected that cool.
Victor - Vic for nn Oscar Marcus Wayne Nathan - Nate Louis - i think Louie or Lou is cute Curtis or Kurt Paul Travis |

| Charlie is a girl's name now? |
| I think Adam fits your criteria. |
| I agree if you like Luke, use it. It fits all of your criteria. |
In the under 5 set, I know 3 little girls named Charlotte, nn Charlie. I know zero little boys named that. |
I know and have seen exactly what you're talking about, but I think OP could name her kid Charles and call him Charlie and the world could follow along just fine. |
