| FNL is one of my all-time favorite series!!! So GOOD |
| I loved the first season of FNL and the book it's based on is also fantastic. By Buzz Bissinger. |
| FNL is the opposite of dark. It is real and sometimes very sad, but it is always redemptive. It is a terrific, terrific show. |
| Definitely FNL. I can't stand the Gilmore Girls. Loralynn, or whatever her name is, drives me nuts. |
Plus, love watching Coach Taylor. Yummy. |
| I second the vote for both. Try FNL first, I suppose, since you haven't seen it before. Like the others said, season 2 isn't too good - but the show is still very bingeworthy. |

Do you have a spouse? If so, watch Friday Night Lights together. At its heart, it's a show about a marriage.
I haven't watched Gilmore Girls but from what I hear, watch that by yourself while on leave from work. |
+1. Texas Forever. |
That's also the the season with the best scene of the whole series. (You all know which one I'm talking about.) So still very much worth watching. |
| They're both fabulous! I'd alternate. |
Coach and Matt in a bathroom? This is the scene that has stayed with me. |
| Friday Night Lights--no question. GG is so annoying, especially when you watch it streaming; it highlights the stupidity. |

That episode was on the other night. Weird. |
| ^ and, yah, it made me cry. It reminded me of one of my old college friends. |
