Nope. In the winter, we do once a week for our toddler and less for the infant. They just don't get that dirty, and it's not really going to help with the germs.

I like you. We are about the same with our toddler - once or twice a week unless he's done something to get particularly dirty. Hands and face get cleaned more frequently.

Every other night for us unless we have an especially messy dinner time or diaper situation. Every night seems like a lot.

Both my parents came from big families and their mothers' bathed them at most every other day because aside from it not being necessary there just wasn't time to bath all 5 or 6 kids every night (nor would they have been able to afford that kind of water bill!). Mainly out of habit (because it was only me and one sibling) they only ever bathed us every other day and FF to now, I have stuck to that routine into adulthood. And I haven't died of any terrible germs!

We do every night. It started because oldest has sensitive skin and we needed to get any daycare soaps and smells off of him. Then it just became routine. Baths don't have to be long and drawn out. Frequently they are just quick in and out wipe downs.

2-3 times a week. Maybe

This is us, too. 1-2x/week when DC was an infant, same holds true at 2.5 years.

We do every three or four days for our four month old. Once he is eating food and moving around, we will probably need to bathe him more frequently but for now, this works. We also have an older child so our evenings are pretty hectic.

This is us too. We use lots of lotion, and only use soap on the hands/feet. Also, baths can be as short as 5 minutes if we are pressed for time.

I started bathing every night (except weekends) after starting daycare -- and honestly it's a good idea. They change them on the same table, and while they're required to wipe the table in between changing I'm sure trace fecal matter (if not worse) has made it to my DC's body. Might not bother some but it bothers me. And then there are the chemicals they use to wipe it down with -- also want to get that off.

I agree and I'm not particularly neurotic. 4 year old gets a bath every night - he gets grimy, doesn't always wipe well, etc. 2 year old does also - changing pad, food smells in his hair, etc. Just feels better to get into bed clean (I'm a night showerer, as is DH, so maybe we pass that idea along!)

I should add that every now and then we skip 2 year old's bath on weekends when he's not at daycare if he's mostly been around the house/outside (as opposed to at my gym etc).

You give your 2.5 year old a bath once a week? Gross.
