Bathing Infants and Daycare

Wednesday and Sunday for our 3 year old.

Every other day, but we wash hands and face immediately upon getting home. We're at an in home daycare, and more than once she has come home freshly bathed after having had a particularly messy outside time or a diaper leak. Bonus for me!

They change them on the same table, and while they're required to wipe the table in between changing I'm sure trace fecal matter (if not worse) has made it to my DC's body. Might not bother some but it bothers me. And then there are the chemicals they use to wipe it down with -- also want to get that off.

Our daycare changes them on paper (like the kind you see at the doctor's office) which they throw away after each child's change.

Ours uses a roll of paper towels for this purpose

Every few days, whenever what he's eaten makes it into his hair. We did the same for the older, and he's survived to just turn three, so I know it's fine.

Bathe him daily if you want; don't if it's too much.
