Firing off emails, left and right!

They probably could have included a few more bullet points.

Probably under the gun to get this out ASAP.

Come on, guys, don't shoot the messenger.

I think this news release had DCUM in it's crosshairs.

I went through the entry way with a bunch of kids last week because I had a meeting. There is a lot going on and they would really have to double the staff to be that vigilant and get kids in the school. I have no doubt that also given the number of doors someone could have let a person in without going through the system.

There are often events there on the weekends when the security stations are not staffed. Someone could easily stash contraband to be recovered later, during the week.

This is actually very true.

Given the number of mass school shootings in the US this year, I don't find this amusing at all. Kind of hard to believe that so many of you do.

I needed this news like I needed a hole in my head.

Too far?

Yes. You all like a bunch of right-wing gun apologists. I don't think you'll find it all so hilarious when someone brings a gun into your child's school.

Not a PP - I love dumb puns and would not normally be one to be a wet blanket / overly PC, but also didn't find this thread funny. This is alarming, and not that far from dead children and teachers.

I'm both alarmed and enjoying the puns -- shoot, it's not that hard.
