Caucasian ladies, when did you start looking 'old'?

I'm 59. I don't look terrible, but I color my hair and have darker skin than a lot of white people.

In the last year or so. I'm 47 and over the past year I've lost 20lbs. It really thinned my face and you can see the age now. I don't have wrinkles as much as everything isn't as tight as it once was. You can see the hollows in my cheeks now. I'm not sure what to do about it. I think fillers might help but I'm not sure I want to start really messing with my face.

I'm not sure yet. I'm 28 and could pass for an undergad still. I'm sure it's just around the corner because I am expecting a baby soon !! I have been crazy with sunscreen and wearing hats since my early20s. This is due to my Irish skin.

You all are so lucky. I definitely started looking older at about 33/34. I am now 36 and just started botox.

Early to mid-thirties for me. I got sunburnt every summer as a child.

I look my age at 35 - a few wrinkles (light on the forehead, a touch of crow's feet, pretty permanent and deep smile lines) but nothing crazy, no "baby fat" in my face, a tiny bit of looseness at the jawline. I don't think 35 is old, so it doesn't bother me.

FYI all white ladies start looking old after 34. You do too even if you won't admit it on here. It's true though.

Wow, pp aren't you a ray of sunshine! The question was when you felt old not when you looked old. Btw, what does it matter?

This again?

There was a thread a while back about how an older woman has to choose between a slim body and a younger looking face - hard to have both because if you lose weight, including in your face, your face looks older, but your body looks great. If you are a bit plump, your face looks a bit more younger, but your body looks meh. Sad, but true.

I think white women start to look like soccer moms by the time they are 28.

I'm 40 and things started going downhill for me last year. Like bam just all of the sudden. Used to get lots of "you don't look your age comments." Then they stopped. When I see myself in the morning I'm like yikes. I just look tired.

I love all the white bashing comments on DCUM. Thanks for actively trying to make us feel like old hags. Feels really awesome.

How else will we get to hear from the fervent "all white women are hags" poster?

At 40, my current age. The decline seemed to really start at 35, which I think is pretty common but I had the double whammy of having my first kid at that age. Prior to conceiving my first, I don't think I EVER ordered/bought alcohol without being carded including more than one occasion where I was out with a group of people my age and I was the only one or one of a few carded, which was really odd. 35 to 40 I still got carded a fair amount but not consistently. As others have mentioned, I was also chubby (and was not pre-kids) so that probably helped for those years. I have recently lost some weight but am still chubby and I feel like I look super old suddenly. Have also been very stressed and am not sleeping well.
