Has anyone on here found their spouse on the Ashley Madison list?

Where do I go to search the list? Can someone post a link?

There are places where lists of people who paid by credit card (so home address included along with name) from the DMV area have been posted. I looked over one that was sorted by zip code just for my local area, not really thinking I'd actually find people I knew. It's a pandora's box I really wish I'd never opened.

If it's a common name, you are going to get thousands upon thousands of hits! Even unique user names and nicknames are coming up with thousands. The city state function is wonky and some cities' names can be found in multiple states.

Unless you know some personal information from these 'friends' or coworkers, I'm not sure how reliable your Intel is. Be careful you are correct before you aoproach them....

How do I find that site? I've looked at Fairfax Underground, but the list isn't searchable and isn't alphabetized or anything

Control +F right on the list will search it or import by copy/paste into any spreadsheet and do same thing.

Found my buddy, a partner at my firm, a few neighborhood acquaintances. Only told my buddy (just a heads up that someone is probably going to tell his wife).

This far into the story I'm surprised there are still people like PPs in this thread who can't find the info. It is sorted alphabetically by zip code for every area remotely in the DMV. Control+F is your friend. Also, there's a freaking map.

I think this is an opportunity for good and many of these people on that website are going to make significant changes in their lives. I think anyone meddling in someone else's relationship may make things more difficult for these couples to mend.

As someone who found their spouse I agree. We are trying to reconcile. Get counseing. I don't know if I can handle friends and family telling me. I might just give up. I'm not that strong.

It's sorted by zip code. Ctrl+F and then search for the name.

If you have the list with billing addresses and the name and mailing address match, I think there's a pretty good chance you're right.

Ignore the PP. info is spread out and a lot of people have been misinformed. On FU site FFX 'sample' list in under general forum, to se DMV 'sample' go under Off Topic. Remember: these are not full lists and do not account for unpaid or deleted

Unless there's no paid account or it was put in someone else's name, or under gift card, or you have the wrong spouse, or the couple paid under one spouse... but I'm sure that never happens. I checked Eddie Munster. He's legit.

+1. I think the first thing everyone needs to do is let families have their privacy. The database is already out in some searchable forms (I am not posting it here) and will soon be on the permanent web for anyone to find. It's a matter of time.

I also looked, found a lot of people I know. I am one of those people who don't see cheating as some horrible sin, meaning there are clearly situations where I understand why someone would cheat who is an otherwise good person. I also know there were a lot of people who were just curious. What makes me sad is thinking of how much pain and embarrassment some of these couples and their kids are going to go through.

So to answer your question, OP -what would you do with the information if you found it? If you aren't going to leave your spouse, why do you need to have that burden on you? I have told my wife if she cheats and its a mistake (as opposed to wanting out of the marriage) I don't want to know. We have a great life together, something in the past that has no effect on my future other than causing our family mental pain is not something I would want to know. And I would be irate with a "friend" who would feel the need to but their nose in my marriage with some information they found on a website on my wife's Ashley Madison account. MYOB.

Use a fake name, use fake email address and don't use a credit card.

The people who got caught were the ones who wanted to get in touch with other people on AM, and not the one who actually went on the site.

The sad part is that this site is not really filled with women. The chances of anyone of finding a woman for an affair on this site was minimal. So basically most of these guys did not even find someone real there. And of course since AM took their money and did not delete their account, they are being humiliated for the intention to cheat but not really the act.

+1 not your place to interfere, IMO.
