| Be careful, regardless. I was interested in a $2M house in McLean that was supposedly the highest quality, built by a builder who usually only does $4M and up, blah blah blah. It was the worst-built POS I've ever seen. |
I agree, the model we saw LOOKED gorgeous ( a new development about two years ago of 12ish homes). I have no idea the quality of the construction. I just know the TH quality was junk. When I looked at it to rent, it looked good, too. Living in it taught me a lot about what to look for when selecting a builder. |
What to look when you select a builder now?

This helps no one if you don't mention the builder. |
We are building with NDI and they are great to work with. They do some high end homes and I found their upgrade pricing both competitive and transparent. |
| We are not happy with the quality we got from Tradition Homes. A number of issues with their oversight of subcontractors. Not a good value for the price. |
| There was a thread on Quaker Homes. They seem to build in McLean too. |

Who builds in McLean but not Vienna? |
ALM Builders.

Quaker

Why wouldn't Quaker build in Vienna? |
| It really depends on price point. Sagatov is great but probably won't do under $4M |
WTF are you talking about, he does sub-$4m all the time. |
