35th Birthday gift for best friend, guy

Anonymous
Op here----recently attended a surprise 35 bday party for anothe friend. I think 35 is a milestone. Even if not, what's wrong with wanting to get something memorable and nice for a friend? Who yes is a straight male.

You're in denial OP. Crush crush crush away.

Get him a blow up doll. That will put an end to any sexual tension. A friend of mind did this and the guy was so humiliated (that was not her plan, she thought it was funny) that he never spoke to her again. End of story.

I can say that I can think of 5 guys around his age right now who would have 5 completely different lists of things they'd enjoy as gifts.

DC guys don't really seem all that into sports to be honest. Not like Philly or Boston guys.

I would not get him anything extra special - he will read in to it if you do... if you want him to read in to it get him something inscribed or an inside joke from long ago.
