The above 3 schools accept kids from other states. |
What was so idiotic? |
| 19 TJ kids headed to Michigan and 14 to Cornell. |
| 16 students will attend Carnegie Mellon University in the fall. |
Michigan viewed better than UVA? Enough to compensate for the cost difference between two? |
Michigan is viewed better than UVA and Michigan offers good amount of merit based aid. |
|
If you have the money, yes. Especially in sciences.
We're OOS for both. Interested in MI but not at all in UVA. |
| Ten students will matriculate at Duke University. |
| Is this available online? I don't see it at the tjToday site. |
No it's not. |
That's odd about allegedly not being accepted. What, then, was the point of attending this school? |
|
It's still the easiest way into UVA. It's still why most parents push for TJ. Get the student into UVA and then they study something other than STEM.
|
Typically, most TJ kids who apply to UVA are accepted (roughly 75% to 80%). Glazer said admissions to UVA and W&M were even better this year than last year. Most TJ kids view UVA as a safety or close to safety (except for those in the bottom 1/3). |
| Eight kids headed to UC Berkeley. |
| Ten TJ kids will attend MIT in the fall. |
