| OH, and to add to that, there is no cell signal in the school, so the only way to call 911 would have been the teacher's phone. |
|
Then use the teacher's phone. Cell phone coverage is spotty in many schools. |
| Why the hell would I want to tell "whoppers" on an anonymous board, about a school I won't name?? That makes no sense. I want to find out if it's common, and who to complain to. |
|
I didn't say YOU were telling whoppers, I said your kid was and you believed them.
Call a news station if it's this bad. Seriously. If you yourself saw with your eyes kids being denied water and passing out, get it out to the news. |
It is not common and complain to Garza (the Superintendent) and the Assistant Superintendent in your school's region. (which is very easy to find on the FCPS.edu website) |
| My child came home talking about a girl passing out and I thought he was joking? Can you just post the initials of the school |
Post yours |
| Im very concerned about when DD starts school now - can you at least please give us the town? |
Trust me, if you check Greatschools there are plenty of warnings about our school. |
Don't be concerned about it- this is an outlier, every school I know encourages students to bring in a water bottle during the hot weeks in the fall and the "spring". In ES, some students have them throughout the year. |
Tell me what the girl was doing when she passed out, and I'll tell you if it's the same school. |
Even elementary? This is an elementary school. In the lower grades they have fountains in the classrooms - they just don't let the kids use it. |
| Troll alert. Any school that would deny water is up for lawsuits. |
