What an obnoxious, unnecessary, rambling response. |
You got all of that out of a simple question about a black pantsuit? I can't imagine going through life thinking the worst of everyone. |
+1. It is very considerate of you to ask. |
This. I am a reform Jew. I was at a bat mitzvah recently at a reconstructionist synogogue and some non-Jewish men didn't cover their heads. A woman went up to them mid service and handed them head coverings. I thought that was extremely rude. They were being respectful of the service and chose not to wear one, it should have been left at that. I know in my experience, a non-Jew isnt held to the same expectations nor should they be. |
You are seriously weird. |
| It really depends. If you post the name of the synagogue we'll be able to give better advice. Many Jews would be okay with a woman wearing pants but not all. |
Wow you sound incredibly angry, bitter and lost. OP what you are planning to wear sounds perfect. Only would be slightly different if it's an orthodox temple, which it sounds like its not. |
+10000, wow agree, this person might be just a tad sensitive, you think? LOL |
Probably not. Probably a lawyer instead.
|
Seriously. What a ridiculous over-reaction. |
You're clearly a psycho. Wouldn't it make MORE sense to ask a question about attire SINCE "not all Jews are the same?" If I attended an Orthodox service, I'd be especially cautious about my choice of clothing. And while OP didn't mention where the ceremony was held, she opened up the discussion so that people could guide her |
