I was at a bat mitzvah recently at a reconstructionist synogogue and some non-Jewish men didn't cover their heads. A woman went up to them mid service and handed them head coverings. I thought that was extremely rude. They were being respectful of the service and chose not to wear one, it should have been left at that. I know in my experience, a non-Jew isnt held to the same expectations nor should they be. [/quote]
