My 6 y.o. still says "cracking my nickels" instead of "knuckles." I dont know if we will ever correct her.

My DS has very good diction and clearly says "vranola bars". We've told him many times it starts with "g like grass" and he knows it, will sometimes correct himself. But he defaults to "vranola."

When DD was 2, she used to say "adain" instead of again. and we'd break it up and say ah-g g g g gain" and she'd repeat the g g g g and then say A-g-g-g-adain"

Most of the toddler mispronunciations are gone (nearly 5 now), but DS still calls yogurt "yoyurt." The day he outgrows that one I will probably cry.

2 y/o DS:

Macaroni & cheese= magic cheese
Trampoline = jump-a-lean
Lolly pop = Polly lop

b's mysteriously appear and disappear

apples=bapples
elbow=belbow
banana= nana
blanket= anget

also, for a while, she would holler "mine" a lot (apparently afraid we were going to take her nana) or "nice" (i assume they tell her to "be nice" at daycare). she has recently amalgamated the two to "mice", which i think is hilarious.
