Oh, hell no.

| Sorry, but which W are we talking about? Woodson? W-L? West Springfield? |
| Don't care at all. |
| If it's tasteful and small, fine. But I still question the judgement of anyone who chooses to brand their skin permanently with any design. |
| I'm clearly the odd one out, but I find visible tattoos distasteful. I think we've become over saturated with tattoos. I think it's sad to see an attractive young girl with a tramp stamp or a guy with markings up and down his arms. I think it's trashy. I wouldn't have a problem with my kid's teacher having a small tattoo on an ankle or even huge ones where I can't see them, or eyebrow piercings, but I think large, visible tattoos are tacky. I don't understand the need to do this to your body. |
| I might be old fashioned but I think it's not professional to show tattoos especially a position like a teacher that demands respect. |
That must be a common thing. My friend in another county wore a wedding ring too, but I think she did it on her own. |

When I was teaching middle school a few years ago a colleague had a tattoo on her arm - she always wore 3/4 length sleeves or longer to cover it because she was not tenured and didn't want to take the risk of a parent complaint. It wasn't an issue with administration but she felt it could possibly lead to negative attention.
In the same school a male guidance counselor had a full arm "sleeve" tattoo. He always wore long sleeves but you could sometimes see it if the cuffs pushed back a little. No one ever said anything. The kids loved him and he was great at his job. The tattoos were irrelevant to anything. |
| What about nurses with tattoos? What say you? |
Other side of the river. Wootton, Whitman, (Winston) Churchill or W.J. |
Same thing as any profession. As long as it isn't obscene, I don't care. I'm not one to judge someone based on tattoos, piercings, or hair colors/styles |
| Tattooed teachers at my school are asked to cover them up but sometimes the covering slips. Blech. |

It matters because parents at W pyramid schools tend to complain about everything that they can. My friend who was visibly pregnant was asked by her principal (at another school) to wear a wedding ring to prevent any awkwardness. That must be a common thing. My friend in another county wore a wedding ring too, but I think she did it on her own. I'm a teacher and when I was pregnant and unmarried, if any one of my admins had asked me/told me to do this, I would've reported them. This may be something that a religious school has the right to do but no public school should be allowed to do this. |
| Don't care. |
This is my favorite gif of all time. |
