You are over thinking it. You can talk/type and seem interested. For most guys, 20 lbs is not an issue. You want to go out with people that see you as a person, not as object.

do you care if he is 30lbs overweight?

Knowing the women on dcurban, who demand absolute perfection, the answer might be yes.

Wear a dress. Jeans are so ugh.

Unless your profile describes you as super athletic, he may already have gathered you aren't a twig since you only had a face shot. Be confident and own it.

Just be YOU. If he doesn't like you then it's not meant to be. For example, do you want him to present something other than himself for you to know if you really like him? Rejection sucks but it's better than wasting six months or 10 years before you realize the bait-and-switch.

Also, lots of guys like a full-figured woman. Just because supermodels are skinny doesn't mean that is what men want to date. I saw a study recently that showed men pics of women in their underwear and asked which they preferred. Most men preferred the size 10, and lots of the guys polled preferred the 12 and 14.

Be confident in who you are, because you are beautiful. Don't try to fit yourself into someone else's mold. Be who you are and find the guy who likes you for you

OP back. No I wouldn't care if he was a bit overweight and we had a good connection but I am a woman. Men are visual for the most part and he started going on and on about how he was on healthy mode and works out an hour and a half a day ughh.

Different guys like different things. I think the main issue for me is I recently gained the weight so I'm very self conscious about it because I let myself go

On one of my pics, you can see half of my body but the picture was back in December and I've gained the weight since then

I know a very in shape guy and though he works out a lot, he's pretty big and muscular. not a twig . I know he goes for meatier girls as long as they are aware and into being healthy - again - not a twig. guys like a butt and boobs. you are over thinking this. if he is crazy into the gym and likes 110 lb girls that obsess over weight you will do yourself a big favor to find that out now.

OP, you can wear jeans with a dress outfit, or a dress. What you should wear is what you will be more confident and COMFORTABLE in. What flatters your body the most?

I like jeans but maybe a dress will be less revealing ?

Where are you meeting? I'd dress for the occasion more than anything.
