Cardio six days/week, either elliptical or running (pushing a jogging stroller with my large toddler). Yoga 1-2 times/week-I want to get back to my hot yoga now that my younger child is settling into a bit more of a routine (he's just under four months).
I'd love to try Crossfit, but may do some of the related DVDs at home for now. I agree that weight training for women is terrific. I'm that rare woman who bulks up noticeably with lifting, so tend not to do it as much as I'd like. Yoga and the resistance offered by the stroller and elliptical give me plenty of muscle. |
| Ballet class (1.5 hours) once a week, hot yoga once a week, then t25 the other 5 days. Ice skating class on Saturdays. |

I typically run 6 days a week. Saturday is my day off.
Sunday --long run (10+ miles) Monday--short run (maybe 3 miles) Tuesday-short run (maybe 5 or 6 miles) Wednesday-medium run (6-8 miles) Thursday-short run (4 or 5 miles) Friday-short run (around 3 miles) On the shortest run days I usually try to incorporate some hill training or sprints. 3 or 4 of those short run/medium run days I also do strength training---just a workout video by Pauline Nordine (Butt Bible) or Jari Love (I have a variety of her videos) When the weather is really bad (icy) and I can't get outside to run, I will do the elliptical inside and jump rope in my basement. |

I work out 7 days a week, most weeks. I run every other day (generally 5-6 miles, but longer on weekends if I'm training for something.) On the non-run days, I lift weights (full-body) for about 20-30 minutes (weights stations at the gym, usually) and then do 30 minutes of low-impact cardio. (Arc trainer.) Twice a week I do power yoga. I also walk a lot, I take my daughter hiking and I love roller skating and ice skating.
Before I had a kid, I also boxed and played volleyball and softball and a few other things, so I've always been active. |

| I ride my bike to work 4 days a week (13 miles roundtrip). On Fridays I either go out on my road bike, go for a swim or, less frequently, a run. |
I need to get back to doing this (it was my training schedule last summer/fall). Thanks for the reminder. |
