Meryl Davis: Is it the Make-up?

Her eyes are wide set, her face is fairly flat and her chin is sharp. Combine that with very little fat on her face and it looks 'sharp'. Kind of like avatar. I am guessing she had a nose job at some point - maybe fixing a break more than plastic surgery. When I look at images of her, her face looks quite different in different pictures depending on the make-up, angle and other factors. I wouldn't recognize her in some pics.

I think she is pretty but the makeup is really harsh and does make her look weird. I don't like it at all.

I commented in the other thread as well, that she resembles a character from the animation Avatar. And, Charlie resembles one of the Hobbits, heh, see photo:

The heavy makeup and dark hair pulled back looks too severe on her with her angular features. She does look like a Japanese doll.

It looks like she broke her nose - definitely crooked. The eye makeup is not flattering at all.

That being said, I take back what I've said about ice dancing being a lame sport. It was impressive tonight.

If you look at her mother's hair, and then Davis' hair over the years, I think she has darkened her hair to black to make her appearance more striking. And anorexic. Although they were fantastic tonight and her costume gorgeous, I think she would have looked better with the same costume in red rather than lavender.

She walks like she just got off a horse. Very bull-legged; or maybe that's how far apart toned thighs are meant to be? I sure as hell wouldn't know.

Umm, perhaps it's because she's walking in skates when you see her.

I thought the make-up yesterday was too much. I don't really pay attention to such things, so the fact that it was the first thing that I noticed is saying something. What kind if look we're they going for?? I think the lipstick might have been the most offensive part?

Otherwise, I think she is a beautiful gal!
