OP here
I may be naive but I don't expect them to spoon feed the kids, I am ok with nit wiping their snot even if it hangs down to their knees, but this? I don't know, I would like to get a call. I was for example asked to pick my DS earlier if at all possible after he once woke up after nap and would not on his bed and cried a little. Only once! And they told me they don't want him to suffer and if I could come 15 mins earlier. Which I thought was kind of out of line, as he is ok most days. But in this case they didn't do anything? |
| *would not STAY on his bed |
| Shouldn't the teacher at least send the kid to the nurse for her to deal with it? |
|
Huh?
Just.... Huh? |
| I am sure this I neither the first nor the last time the kid will be constipated. Seriously. Get a grip, |
| OP sounds like u won't be happy unless you quit your job and SAHM. |
I would too PP. I'm horrified by the attitudes of a lot of other PP s in this thread towards their children. It's sad that they don't care that their kids are in pain and even worse that the parents don't care. I would want to know immediately and would expect a call. |
Just fixing my prior post. |
+1000. |
"Horrified" and "sad"? you sound like an idiot. Constipation is something to send in the daily note or email. It doesn't warrant an emergency call. |
Homeschooler? |
| He's constipated, OP. It happens. Perhaps his parents were already aware. Maybe it happens regularly and the staff know they just need to let him sit there for a while. |
They were probably tired of hearing him cry and figured that you could come early and relieve them. Daycare workers are very protective of their down time during naps. |
And I don't blame them. But it turns out unless something like this happens at nap time, nobody really cares? |
|
OP here- so, I get it, I seem overreacting to many.
My next question is then- would they call ME about MY kid if I asked them? |
