This is us too. I smack his ass when he walks by. My two year old has started doing that. It's funny. |
| We've been married for almost 16 years and together for about 20. DW is always on me about kissing her. We peck all of the time. I kiss her before I leave the house. Every time our children see us kiss they let out sounds like it's hurting them. We have not French-kissed in a very long time. I remember when we first met it was constant. I'm not sure what made it taper off, but I'm no longer in the mood for it. She still wants it. She's always telling me that she desires more passion. It's not that I don't love her, because I really do love her more than I can explain. |
| We kiss all the time. Not making out but just pecks on the lips. Prob 5-6 times a day? |

DH and I have been married for 11.5 years (together for 19). We don't "passionately" kiss that much anymore even when intimate. I don't like French-kissing anymore, so unless we're in a really passionate mood, there's none of that.
We do peck often though. |
| I love kissing. I've been married less than a year and it has already tapered to just hello and goodbye pecks. I rarely even get a kids goodnight in bed anymore. It hurts a lot. |
| I've been married for 9 years and my DH and I kiss a few times a day. Usually just a peck but we still French kiss a few times a week if I had to make a guess. |
| Yep, every day. Always when we get home from work and when we say good-night, and then in passing as we make dinner, etc. |

Ok based upon most of these responses the majority of couples are peck kissing not French kissing? When hubby ad I met we could tongue kiss for hrs but we had sex last night with no kissing. Is this a natural part of a long term relationship or a red flag?
|
| I couldn't imagine sex without any kissing. Together for 7 years, married for 3. |
| Married 2 years, several pecks a day. Love those. French kissing is more rare. |
| Sadly, I married a guy who's just never been that into kissing. I get my peck in the morning and at bedtime, if I push it. I fantasize about kissing random strangers. |
totally normal. kissing is something women obviously value more than men. Women rate how well men kiss. Men rate how well women... well... you know where I'm going with that. Most men do the peck because they know if they don't they'll have to have a talk about "intimacy" and they'd rather get a colonosopy without any drugs. We learn to do enough to get by and judging by all the clueless women in here, we're good at it. We kiss our mistress, we peck you. Eventually we stop kissing our mistress too. Just look at gay men - they only kiss for effect. My brother never kisses his boyfriend of five years more than a peck here and there. they french when they want to freak out homophobes. |
Oh so, because you don't like it, all men don't like it? Great logic there. I'll be sure to tell my DH, who kisses me about a million times a day, including when I am 8 months pregnant on bed rest and sex is not even remotely an option. |
| I've been married 3 years. We usually only french kiss before/during sex. I can't imagine sex without kissing. We hug and kiss on the lips several times per day - deliberate and sincere kisses. We've even perfected a good-morning kiss that doesn't blow morning breath at the other person. My husband does seem to genuinely like kissing. I guess I lucked out. We'll see how it is years down the road. |
| Why don't men like to kiss their wives? |
