Am I too fat for this?

You look better than I do, and I wear a size 4.

Yeah, you're missing that BWI and pound numbers aren't everything.

Honestly? Yeah I think you are too heavy to pull this look off. But then again I see tons of moms in this area try and do it and it after a while you just kind of think chunky legs and thighs in leggings are the norm.

I am also a size but was once a size 24. I won't wear leggings at all now because I had to wear them when I was obese with longer tops and tunics. In fact,if you look at the fat lady clothing store catalogs and websites, this is a standard look. So for me if you can't tuck the shirt into the leggings or you need a shirt that flairs over your hips/butt it's a fat lady look.

You have issues. She looks great.

I don't like the shirt but the jeans/boots look great. I am a size 10, down from a 14, but still can't find boots that fit over my calves and especially not over calves plus jeans. You are lucky.

For all of us in your size range OP - can you list brand of boots and pants?

YOU LOOK GREAT!!! I'm a 8/10 and you look my size.

She does NOT have issues just because she doesn't agree with you. Many people feel this way - when I leave DC and go to the burbs, I'm always shocked at the obese people in leggings.

But the #1 rule of legging wearing is that your top should cover your behind. Even for skinny people.

OP - If I saw you out and about in this outfit, I would think to myself "cute outfit." You look great!

I think you look great!

My issue isn't ever with the size of the wearer of the skinny jeans, it's the *fit* of the jeans on the wearer. Yours look like they fit really well.

I also think that the boots look good. Cognac boots are always a good choice.

My only minor quibble is the scarf with the earrings. I'd wear one or the other.

I'm laughing at the now 14, was a 24, poster who thinks you should tuck shirts into leggings! WTF?!

to OP- you have an incredibly proportionate body. I am your height and currently 155, 10 pounds over my ideal weight and trying hard but depressed that nothing is moving and my clothes don't look good. You look better than I do because I have muffin top/belly and thin/toned everything else...........numbers aren't everything!
