Am I the only one who actually likes Joe Biden?

To lose his wife and daughter like that, and then be able to continue in public life without any real hint of cynicism takes something extra, I think. Maybe it's extra grit, or extra optimism.

+1
Love him too

I like him, he seems like a nice guy. I just think he forgets that he doesn't need to tell us everything he is thinking.

Yep, I literally like him. And the future is literally in our hands, because we do indeed use our hands to vote. And for those who thought he over-used "literally", they must have overlooked LOOK.

Ditto.

This. I love Joe! I was one of the few people who supported him for president in 2008. He knows a ton, esp about foreign policy but also many other areas, he knows how DC works and how to get things done, and he's way more straightforward with the public than other politicians. He sometimes says things he shouldn't, but it's never a lie.

Now, having seen him in action since then, I probably wouldn't want him at the top of the ticket, but he's definitely a huge asset. People who just see him speak or his gaffes aren't getting a true picture.

I only counted two 'literallys' in his speech last night; someone must have talked to him about that.

I don't mind the gaffes, I'd rather have a politician who occasionally says what he thinks instead of reading from a script. Don't get me wrong - I wouldn't vote for him at the top of the ticket, but I don't understand why there is always this negative vibe about him. I think he's an asset to Obama who may be brilliant but has a bit of a cold fish thing going on.

OP im a Joe Biden sycophant. Its not extreme as obama lovers who almost see him as their lord and savior but its pretty deep.

I can admit that Biden is a fuck up and has hurt Obama at times but for the most part im 100% pro Biden.

I was for him in 08 for president over Obama and Clinton and been a die hard since Obama put him on the ticket.

At this point, Joe is getting to be the only reason I have excitement and passion for the ticket. Id never vote Romney but Obama isnt doing anything for me so Biden is doing it for me now.
