I just posted about having 8 partners before DH. Why would you make fun of these folks who waited until marriage?

This is me and although I assume the "Are you from the South" question was aimed at those who were only with their husband....I'm from Baltimore actually but I never had any interest in sex with strangers and I waited a couple of months at least with those I was with (although I did do "other stuff" fairly quickly so I wouldn't say that makes me an angel). Anyway, I was just shy with boys.

I do have a friend who's husband was her only and she grew up with me and isn't religious. She just didn't have a serious boyfriend until she met him after College. I also have another friend from LI who still has never had a boyfriend and I'm fairly certain is still a virgin at 30. She isn't religious and not opposed to pre-marital sex, she's just waiting for someone worth being with because she isn't the type that can have sex without the feelings involved.

Being Southern has nothing to do with being a virgin. Some people just feel differently about sex than others. I feel that if you are single who you have sex with is only affecting to your life so it shouldn't matter to anyone else. How would you feel if one of these women was like "Goodness. 22. What whores you all must be. Ugh, that's disgusting". They wouldn't say it because they would be flamed since they are most likely in the minority. You don't want to be judged, so why judge others!?

Just short means really that we had oral sex and all other stuff but no intercourse, so dependant on how you view sex....you can add that one if you'd like to my count. To be honest though, it's descriptive because he was on the "short" side also. Haha. Maybe we did have sex and I was just unaware! Just kidding!
