22:49 here and I usually take what Paul says with a grain of salt. But I like how he tells women to love and respect their husband but doesn't forget to tell the husband to love his wife like Christ loves the church - to the point he gave his life for her. If only each of us did our part of the deal... |

New poster here - by "reasonable," you mean the posters who are quoting Cathechism and the Bible to argue that homosexuality is wrong? Huh. I've apparently been mistaken about the meaning of "reasonable" all these years. I'll have to go look it up. |

Who made you DCUM censor? What I don't understand is how somebody can post something and you think the rest of us shouldn't be allowed to discuss it. And apparently you also ignored the several posters (including me) who said that Jesus didn't say anything against homosexuality. So you just focus on the posts you want to focus on.... Calling the scriptures "crap" just underscores how stupid and immature you are.... |

I bet the poster who called the scriptures "crap" would object to be called a troll. But she is a troll. Just because the context is religion, doesn't mean that it's OK to call other peoples' thoughts and beliefs "crap." It makes you a troll.

Why do so many atheists come off as obnoxious, rude, immature bullies? Who want to shout insults instead of having a two-way conversation? I'm talking to you, 11:21/11:50, and to the Ranting Atheist. (I'm not convinced you're different people, but it sucks for thoughtful conversation if there's more than one of you.)
There are definitely some thoughtful atheists on DCUM. But 11:21/11:50 ruins it for the rest of the atheists. If you atheists want to be taken seriously, you need to clean up your act. |
