If you can afford it you should be a single mom by choice. Not sure why you’d want to try and rush a husband to have a kid with, sounds like a horrible idea. You’ll be tied down to some dude you didn’t have enough time to vet……I strongly do not recommend.

I’m 105 lbs, 5’2.

Have you considered eating more? That's awfully skinny and potentially unattractive to men. Try to avoid looking like a child when you dress.

I’m 5’4” and 112 and have no problem attracting men. This is not “too skinny” or unattractive

I agree with you. I don’t understand women’s obsession with men.

+1. You’ll do more work as a married mom than a single one.

Uh, ok. You are not the subject of this thread. OP is shorter and lighter than you. More children like.

If you want to be a mom, go to a fertility clinic asap. You may still be able to use your eggs depending on their quality. Do natural miniIVF. Pick donor sperm. You can still find a partner if that's important to you - make sure he actually enriches your life though, but focus on the kid first as you don't have much time fertility wise. I did the single mom of choice. Own eggs at 43. Best thing I ever did. Good luck.

Not too late to be married (that's never too late). Maybe too late for biological children - consider IVF with a donor or adopting. If you really want kids, I'd focus on that first. If you don't, then be willing to let that go while you look for someone to marry.

And, I say this gently, I'd really look into why you aren't married and haven't dated in 14 years. That's not common.

The market is not in your favor. A single guy who's never had kids has too much options in younger, more fertile women. And you absolutely don't' want someone who already has kids. They will just take away resources from your own. You'll be your best mom version of yourself at this point as a single mom by choice.

+1. I did this and it has been amazing!

You seem very certain as to what is best for OP

Bringing a child into the world intentionally without a father in the picture is far less than ideal. At least for the child.

I don’t think any of this is about the child.

Eh. I lowered my standards because I wanted marriage and kids, and it ended with me getting cheated on repeatedly before being financially devastated by his theft of my money + a divorce. You really never know what’s going to happen in a marriage.

Most married women I know would kill to be in your position. I love my kids, but even this morning, I was wishing I had just remained single and childless my entire life. This shit ain’t for the weak.
