OP, one thing to remember is that the ladies on this board are either super wasp-y or southern country girls, none of whom have been exposed to people outside of their small circles. Meanwhile, this is a diverse area and most people will know how to pronounce your name. I would pronounce it properly, as would almost everyone I know. lol, while much of this may be true - you and nobody else is going to pronounce this properly without input/correcting.

I have a friend whose names is always mispronounced. She finally gave up correcting people and now goes by the mispronunciation.

Hana Hannah Hanna and Anna all sounds the same to me. If you want to pronounce Hawna just write it Hawna

I have a similar name (German). I use it as a middle name as an adult. I still like it a lot but it got really old having it constantly mispronounced.
