Trump is panicking

Anonymous
He's not panicking. I don't think his mental profile includes panic, or shame, or guilt. He shunned the cameras last weekend because of the rash on his neck. If it's shingles, it's painful and he's probably on pain killers and feeling down.

No, he's the guy capable of believing his own insane lies... that he won the 2020 election, for example. He will die before he sincerely apologizes for anything. He's getting a lot more impulsive and erratic with cognitive decline, and is easily manipulated by the likes the Netanyahu and MBS if they appeal to his baser instincts.

Here are the reasons he went to war, in no particular order:
1. Needs a distraction from Epstein.
2. Needs a distraction from polls showing public is unhappy and might vote blue in the midterms.
3. Wanted to get Iranian leaders because they tried to assassinate him. Tit for tat.
4. Wrongly believes Maduro kidnapping was a brilliant move and feels confident he can replicate regime decapitation elsewhere, without understanding anything about anything.
5. Lets Netanyahu wrap him around his little finger.
6. Saudis have given his family billions, and he's open to their suggestions.
7. Likes to play God and is addicted to being in the news on the global stage.

Wait until someone makes the connection for MAGA between the 6 servicemen that were recently killed in this war and the diplomats killed during the Benghazi incident. The six killed were in a makeshift facility--a triple-wide trailer-- that was essentially unprotected despite known risks:

*Officials told CBS News that the warning sirens at the port had not worked all week prior to the strike.
*Despite being a known target area, the site had no American counter-rocket, artillery, and mortar (C-RAM) systems capable of detecting and shooting down incoming drones.
*Sources stated that requests for additional drone-defense capabilities were made prior to the strike, but the Trump administration did not send the resources, leaving the unit with "basically no drone defeat capability".
*Three military officials revealed there were internal discussions before the attack about whether the site should even be used, as it concentrated too many troops in a non-defendable space (a triple-wide trailer).

If it's the kryptonite that destroys trump and MAGA then it's worth the price

When the notion of war with Iran first started coming up, I just sort of shrugged. If this crew is so stupid as to start yet another war in the middle east, then have at it. I'm sorry for those who will sacrifice their lives, but I bet a whole lot of the rank and file military voted for him.

You know and the entire world knows that MAGA are incapable of making such a connection. They will seek an implausible alternative for their reality.

No. He will blame Biden and his moronic MAGA cult will believe him. Johnson and Thune will go along with him.

Johnson, yes, but I think Thune is generally done with him.

That will never happen. No political gain for the right.

Maybe he does have shingles from all the stress. I hope it's painful.

I feel like he was looking down just to hide his neck rash.

Thune is more dependent on Trump and MAGA. He will never break with Trump.

They stole the election together, that's the secret they had. Remember? If Trump goes down, he goes down. (And they're both toothless as soon as the new Congress is sworn in.)

OOPS no. Meant Johnson, and do not agree.

Between the presser taking place right now and the Noem hearing, he should be panicking. The administration is flailing and failing.

Johnson is more dependent than Thune - he wouldn't even be speaker anymore if not for Trump's help.
