Less classes you have to take to earn your degree. Many kids can earn a masters in their 4 years instead of just a bachelor degrees

Many schools are credit sensitive so the courses are only counted as electives so students still need to take the same number of courses. But its like extra credit for your GPA so can help you make magna cum laude

Yes, but if its a full ride why cut college time short, its generally a fun and rewarding time of life AND its how you build connections and maybe find romantic partners.

Another benefit is they can take a lighter total credit hour load in a semester where they may be taking harder classes.

It certainly feels like it. It is a small pond . With expansion of new building things will change, but the small scale really suits us. The kids that have left tech want a big pond, more typical high school environment. The ones that have stayed or transferred in enjoy the size and focused program.

My kid is in 11th and everybody knows them and they seem to know everybody. They like the small vibe and STEM focus.

Waitlisted in the 30s. All my kid’s close friends got in. He is pretty bummed that he is waitlisted but hopeful he will get a spot in the next few months.

Historically he should be get in. Last year we were in the 90’s and cleared after the first round. It’s not for everyone and many are explore options.

That’s not the the extent of the plans, which they keep changing on the go. There are many people concerned about it, including teachers at Langston

right but there aren't enough langston kids to really impact AT
