You don't need the most amazing coat. You layer. |
Not kids jackets. |
I mean, you're right, but this would be a whole another level of stupid. |
One of my weather apps says 19-23 inches and my other weather app says 12-18 combined total for next weekend. And we will not go above 32 degrees until an entire week later on 2/2. Of course this could change but if it actually snows this much we are definitely not going to school on Tuesday. My street doesn’t even get plowed for days during the biggest storms. |
Well said. |
+1. If there's a foot+ of snow, schools will be closed for several days. |
Yes, kids’ jackets. I buy jackets and coats for my students. Everything at four unique thrift locations in the area was thin, battered to hell, or over $40. I have better luck with the Macy’s sale. |
I see 1” on Saturday and 3-5” on Sunday for our area. Which app are you looking at? |
the standard iPhone Weather app says like 2-4 inches on Saturday night and 18-22 inches on Sunday. Then again it said 6-8 inches for Sunday 2 days ago and 0% chance of snow for Sunday yesterday so take it with a grain of salt. |
Why? |
| Seriously? There’s nothing unusual or dangerous about the weather tomorrow. It’s just normal winter cold. |
+1000 |
| I would not put it past the geniuses in CO to announce a delay based on this thread, but I urge them to do a simple Google search for information about what temperatures justify a closure due to cold weather with no precipitation. |
Book a hotel room if you're incapable of driving in the snow. |
Either you're looking at fancy thrift shops or you have unrealistic expectations for the condition. Goodwill has jackets. Yes, you'll need to layer. |
