I am MAGA, born and raised in Europe. Just returned from spending 2 weeks in Europe and heading back there on Christmas Day. We don't hate Europe, relax. And I don't know how to explain to you things that you imagined in your head.

Why are you ignoring what Trump and his administration are doing? You are the poster child for the Leopards Eating Faces Party

but their tendency to label any unpopular political “hate speech” to silence their constituents and imprison them for memes is concerning.

They are literally banning nazi rhetoric as they have since the end of WW2. why do you support people promoting Nazi perspectives?

Well putting aside things I might be imagining, do you concur with Trump’s recent statements on European decline, and that the US should shift away from allying with Europe and supporting NATO, and instead support non-democratic forces such as Hungary and Russia? And most importantly- why?

You project your own feelings (hate) to others. I don't hate anyone, never ever experienced that feeling toward anyone I know, I don't know. Just because we see different path for my country, does not mean I hate my country.

There are the users and the suckers.

The users can afford to go to Europe, they do not hate Europe. JD Vance is one of those. There is an understanding that, of course, in a lot of ways Europe is superior to the US.

However, the users need the suckers, the meat of the outrage that enables the users, to hate Europe because if the suckers knew how good they had it in Europe the users wouldn’t be able to afford to live as they do because they’d have to pay their fair share and corporations would be held accountable, etc.

I think this is largely correct. Everyone in Indiana and Missouri and Oklahoma is taught Europeans are godless heathens that live off the teat of the government and are destroying their culture by being dependent on the state and welcoming all these Syrians and Afghans and Iraqis and Pakistanis. And if you can't walk safely in your neighborhood anymore, that's racism.

Right wing parties in western Europe are going to town over this dynamic.

But Europe hates JD!

This thread is eye-opening with these self-proclaimed MAGA who swear they love Europe. Let's see if they change their mind when Russia starts invading with Trump's blessing.

Europe must take care of itself. The U.S. is not the world's policeman.

Except when it comes to Venezuelan, Israel, and Iran apparently.

Except being the policeman meant opening up and solidifying markets for our businesses, which led to massive expansion of American globalnational corporations and great wealth for the USA. Pulling back on that means others will assume that role, diminishing the US value on the global stage. we are seeing that with Europe rebuilding its defense capacity and China and Russia filling the void in third world countries.
