MAGA - why do you hate Europe?

Anonymous
In light of Dear Leader’s recent outbursts about Europe being weak, in decline, and experiencing “erasure” of their civilization, it certainly seems like MAGA despises Europe. Can someone explain why? They are an historic trading partner, military ally, and enormous economy. Why do Republicans want to turn them into an enemy?

Because MAGA is an arm of Putin’s government.

I don't necessarily agree with the following, but there is part of me that wonders if parents who refuses vaxes for their newborns/kids can now be stripped of their immunities. Or hate on Europe, so no longer allowed to enter.

My parents raised up to believe in the miracle of modern medicine as they lived through polio epidemics in their communities, had relatives with handicaps because of polio, and also had relatives living in TB sanitariums when they were young.

I just can't believe that there are people who do not want their kids protected from Hep A or appear to have zero understanding of WWs I/II.

I hate their freedoms.

I am MAGA, born and raised in Europe. Just returned from spending 2 weeks in Europe and heading back there on Christmas Day. We don't hate Europe, relax. And I don't know how to explain to you things that you imagined in your head.

I love Europe as do most MAGAs I know personally.

but their tendency to label any unpopular political “hate speech” to silence their constituents and imprison them for memes is concerning.

As a foreigner, MAGA hates you as well. They are tolerating you for the time being but will gladly shiv you when the time comes.

MAGA is a two-tiered system.

There are the users and the suckers.

The users can afford to go to Europe, they do not hate Europe. JD Vance is one of those. There is an understanding that, of course, in a lot of ways Europe is superior to the US.

However, the users need the suckers, the meat of the outrage that enables the users, to hate Europe because if the suckers knew how good they had it in Europe the users wouldn’t be able to afford to live as they do because they’d have to pay their fair share and corporations would be held accountable, etc.

Yup. I think this is it. It's the same logic as going after universities/academics. Educated, informed people who know a lot about the world don't make good suckers. And MAGA regime needs lots and lots of suckers.

This can very easily be applied to Russians too. All the elites spew hate of west but then go on vacations in Europe, buy second, third etc homes there, send their kids to schools in Europe. But to a common Russian Europe is evil nest of depravity. MAGA and Russian public are subject to same brainwashing.

Well putting aside things I might be imagining, do you concur with Trump’s recent statements on European decline, and that the US should shift away from allying with Europe and supporting NATO, and instead support non-democratic forces such as Hungary and Russia? And most importantly- why?

I don’t hate Europe. I do hate what they are doing to themselves and their citizens

Agree with everything except Russia. While we should not have confrontational relations with Russia, I don't think we should support them.
